I am a pet owner. Can I order your products directly?

I’m afraid we are unable to supply pet owners directly, even on receipt of a prescription. Our products are also not available via online pharmacies. This is due to the legislation surrounding the supply of this type of medicine.

Can we keep an office stock of your products?

Yes. Our veterinary specials may also be known as extemporaneous preparations. VMD guidance on stock of medicines states:

Stock of medicines

You may keep limited quantities of human medicines, imported medicines and extemporaneous preparations for the treatment of animals where cascade use is required. The amount held should be justified by the immediate clinical need under the cascade rules. These medicines should not be used as a first-choice treatment in every situation. You should keep up to date with new authorisations and change your prescribing habits and stocking policies accordingly.

Each month, details of new MAs and changes to existing MAs are published in the Veterinary Record.

Visit http://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-cascade-prescribing-unauthorised-medicines for further information.

I'm a locum veterinary surgeon, can I still order with you?

Absolutely.  We just kindly ask that you indicate that you are a locum vet when you register. If you wish to pay for the products yourself, you will need to create an account with us for billing purposes.

If you wish to order for a clinic that you are working from and the clinic will be paying for the order, please contact us.

Please note: We are only able to register and deliver to RCVS registered veterinary practice premises.
